The Division of Enrollment and the Student Experience partners with Drumlins Country Club to bring students seasonal activities including golf, tennis, cross country skiing and snowshoeing.

The Centro Bus is free for Syracuse University and SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) I.D. holders. For more information on the Syracuse University Centro bus schedule, visit the Centro website or the SU Parking and Transit Services website.

Golf and Tennis

During the fall and spring semesters, full-time Syracuse University and SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) undergraduate students can access golf and tennis at Drumlins Country Club. View more details below.

From September to October, full time Syracuse University and ESF undergraduate students with a valid college I.D. have access to free golf Sunday-Saturday, 8 a.m.-7 p.m. on a first come, first serve basis. To schedule golf lessons for a nominal fee, call 315.446.5580, or visit the Drumlins Country Club website.

Details

  • Masks and social distancing are required at all times.
  • Play 9 or 18 holes.
  • Golf carts are $40.
  • A bucket of balls for the driving range is $6.
  • Valid student I.D. must be presented in the golf shop prior to each visit.
  • Maximum group size is four players.
  • There are no beverage coolers allowed on the course.

From Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2020, to Friday, April 23, 2021, full-time Syracuse University and ESF undergraduate students with a valid college I.D. have access to a variety of free tennis activities. Reservations are recommended and can be made up to three days in advance by calling Drumlins Country Club at 315.446.2323. Please note, availability may be subject to academic breaks, club events and more.

  • Masks or face coverings are required when navigating the facility in addition to entering and exiting courts.
  • Social distancing is required at all times.
  • Ball machine use is $10 per hour and must be reserved at time of court reservation.
  • Free of charge, tennis racquets are available to borrow.
  • Guests of a valid student I.D. holder may participate in tennis activities for $15 per visit.
  • Non-marking court shoes are required.
  • Reservations may be made up to three days in advance.
  • Reservations are limited to one hour and thirty minutes.
  • Courts are limited to four players per reservation.
  • Cancelations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

Instructional Tennis Clinics

  • Wednesday and Thursday: 8:30 p.m.-10 p.m.
  • Class sizes are limited, please register by 3 p.m. the day of the clinic.
  • Please note, there must be at least three individuals registered to host a clinic.
  • Please reserve clinic space by calling Drumlins Country Club at 315.446.2323.

Independent Tennis Play – Open Court

  • Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 8:30-11 p.m.
  • Saturday: 4-6 p.m.

  • Tuesday: Noon-3 p.m., 9-10:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday: Noon-2 p.m.

Tennis Play Graduate Student Pass

From Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2020, to Wednesday, June 30, 2021, full-time Syracuse University and ESF graduate students with a valid college I.D. have access to a variety of tennis activities. Passes may be purchased by calling Drumlins Country Club at 315.446.2323.

  • Two Months: $55

Enjoy the winter weather on marked and mapped trails. For questions regarding trail status or closings, please call 315.937.5000.

  • All equipment is free of charge (including skis, poles, boots and snowshoes).
  • Guest passes are available for $8 to guests of valid SU/ESF I.D. holders and must be purchased prior to arrival at the Guest Services desk located in the Barnes Center.
  • All levels of experience are welcome.
