Pam joined FASA in October 2018 as the Interim Director before being named Assistant Dean for Fraternity and Sorority Affairs. Pam has worked at Syracuse University for 20 years and has served as both the Assistant Dean/Director of the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities and as an Assistant Director in the Office of Residence Life. She originally hails from New Jersey, although she has called the city of Syracuse and the University home for 20 years. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Penn State, Erie the Behrend College, and her Master’s degree in Education at Penn State, University Park.

In December 2013, Pam became an official Orange alumna after earning a second Master’s degree in Cultural Foundations of Education. Pam also serves as a part-time faculty member in the Higher Education program. Pam is a nine-time NFL Draft attendee, collects all things Wonder Woman, enjoys spending time walking her dogs and shoveling snow.

Tiffany joined Syracuse University in July 2019 as the Associate Director in the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Affairs. Before coming to Syracuse, Tiffany worked at Bowling Green State University as the Coordinator for Fraternity & Sorority Life. She is originally from the Houston, TX area and earned her Bachelors of Arts and Masters of Education from the University of Houston where she was very active as a collegiate and graduate student. Tiffany is a proud member of Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority and is actively involved with the organization as an alumna member. She is passionate about goal setting, planning, and organizing. In her free time, Tiffany enjoys reading, writing, painting, and spending time with her family and pets.

Kyle joined Syracuse University in January 2020, six weeks before the pandemic started, as the Assistant Director in the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Affairs. Before coming to Syracuse, Kyle worked at the University of Nevada, Reno where he was the Coordinator of Fraternity and Sorority Life.

Originally from Jupiter, FL, Kyle earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Tampa. While at UT, Kyle joined Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and became president of his chapter, and served on the NPHC board. Outside of fraternity and sorority life, Kyle was really involved on campus with multiple organizations. Kyle earned his master’s degree from the University of Houston. When Kyle is not working with fraternities and sororities, he is enjoying the latest horror film, looking for people to play tennis with, cooking, dancing, traveling to different places, listening to great music, watching anime, and binge-watching different shows.

Debbie has been with SU for 33 years. Debbie will serve as the primary council advisor for the National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations (NALFO) & the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), as well as co-advise the  Interfratnernal Council (IFC).

Lael Pierce was raised in Yonkers, New York, a suburb just outside of New York City. Lael attended Utica College of Syracuse University and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management. During her undergraduate years, she was actively involved in the Student Senate, Black Student Union, and the Step Team. Her commitment to higher education began immediately after graduation, as an Undergraduate Admissions Counselor at her alma mater, where she was responsible for the recruitment of New York City students. She continued on as an Academic Coach, Student Services Director, and Access Advisor for various institutions, leading students beyond their personal and academic challenges, and into success.

Lael is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. where she currently serves as the President of the Kappa Xi Zeta Chapter of Syracuse, New York, and as the Secretary of the Zeta Phi Beta New York State Executive Board.  She is a member of the National Association of Parliamentarians, where she is undergoing training to become a Registered Parliamentarian.  She also serves the local community as the Vice-Chair of the PEACE, Inc. Eastside Neighborhood Advisory Committee and a volunteer for several local agencies.  She believes in leading by example and with a heart of service.  She hopes to instill in others the historical and educational significance of Greek organizations and encourage members to leave a positive, impactful legacy.  Her favorite things to do include community service, mentoring, spending time with her niece, shopping, traveling, and anything pertaining to health & fitness.

MaryJo grew up in Newburgh, NY, a suburb north of New York City. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Labor Relations & Human Resource Management from Le Moyne College in 1990. As an undergraduate student, MaryJo was social chairman and community service coordinator of Pi Nu Epsilon Sorority at Alfred State College. Before working as an Office Coordinator, she worked in the Labor & Employment Law Department at Hancock Estabrook law firm.

Her passion is to volunteer at the Rescue Mission and “pay it forward” through community service involvement. She loves spending time with her family, lake living and boating on Oneida Lake, traveling, interior design, and watching men’s and women’s college lacrosse. She enjoys engaging and interacting with students in all facets of fraternity and sorority life at Syracuse University!

Greg is originally from Marcy, NY, a suburb just north of Utica. He received his Bachelor of Science in both Accounting and Real Estate from the Martin J. Whitman School of Management in 2012. While at SU, Greg had the opportunity to be a member of Delta Sigma Pi, a professional business fraternity, as well as study abroad in London, UK. He looks forward to bringing his passion for the University into his work and help foster the positive environment that he experienced.

Shakaya Walcott

Shakaya Walcott is in her second year of the Masters of Higher Education program here at Syracuse University and recently began earning her certificate in Intercollegiate Athletic Advising and Support (CAS). This is her second year with the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs and she is excited to continue her work through another year. In addition to the work she does in FASA, she is also the Academic Consultant for the Native Student Program with the Office of Multicultural Affairs. 

Shakaya is originally from Waterbury, Connecticut, and attended Southern Connecticut State University. While at SCSU she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work as well as getting very involved in student leadership. Some of her favorite leadership roles were being Peer Mentor, Orientation Ambassador, and President of her Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated. These experiences are the foundation of why she chose to enter the field of Higher Education and Student Affairs. 

Shakaya is a first-generation college student and has a passion for creating spaces for underrepresented students to feel empowered and at home on their college campus. It is her goal to ensure that all students she interacts with have a fun and fruitful college experience

Salvatore is from Long Island, NY. He attended SUNY Oswego for his undergraduate degree where he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Creative writing. An important hobby of his is writing poetry and sending them to publications. Salvatore is very excited to study the multiple facets within the dynamic field of higher education and concentrate on his personal strengths and interests that he will learn throughout the program and industry. A fun fact about Salvatore is that he used to dance competitively and worked for a dance competition company where he traveled around the United States!
